SHOT Day 2: LionSteel Goes for Broke with New Take-Apart Fixed Blade

SHOT Day 2: LionSteel Goes for Broke with New Take-Apart Fixed Blade

LionSteel can always be counted on to bring something special to the big show, and in 2025 they’re really turning heads. A new fixed blade is on the way that can be taken apart for cleaning with just one included tool, and a high-end, techy flipper folder should please the fidget fans out there.

Acha

On the surface, the Acha is a straight putt of an outdoors fixed blade, in that particular clean, polished modern-classic fusion LionSteel house style. But on the pommel there is a custom bolt which, when loosened with the included tool, allows users to remove a central pin in the handle, which then releases the entire SOLID handle piece, along with the guard. This means that the Acha can be field stripped and thoroughly cleaned even when you are out in the wilds, away from the tool bench.

In terms of specs, the Acha delivers a 4.21-inch drop point blade, very much in the lineage of traditional outdoors and hunting blades. It’s made from M390, and the removable handle piece comes in three different colors of burlap Micarta.

Q4TTRO

Weird name, cool knife. The Q4TTRO is a tribute to the T.R.E., which released in 2015 and impressed with its customizable three-way opening system. As the name implies, the Q4TTRO offers four different opening methods: front flipper, opening hole, two-handed, and spine side flipper – which, as on its illustrious predecessor, can be removed for those who don’t want or can’t have it.
