Nosler has just launched the new Nosler M21 Carbon, a limited-edition lightweight rifle that incorporates carbon fiber into many of its assemblies, including the stock and barrel.

The M21 Carbon rifle is an exclusive release with only 100 uniquely crafted rifles available to the public. The rifle will be offered for the .28 Nosler cartridge with a corresponding 24-inch barrel and a retail price of $3,795. Nolser is also selling a .308 Win. variant of the M21 Carbon with a 16-inch barrel and a retail price of $3,695. Nosler’s limited release in this collection brings precision and performance in an ultra-light, rugged package. The .308 Win. version of the Nosler M21 Carbon weighs 5.9 pounds compared to the .28 Nosler cartridge model, which tips the scales at 7.05 pounds.

The heart of the rifle lies in Nosler’s M21 action, a Remington 700-pattern bolt-action that is precision-manufactured with EDM (electrical-discharge machining), a process which is often used to work with hardened steels. Nosler also designed the limited edition M21 Carbon to include an adjustable TriggerTech Gold Edition trigger. In order to suit both precision shooters and hunters alike, this TriggerTech unit can be adjusted for a trigger pull weight between 4 ounces to 32 ounces. The Nosler M21 action makes use of a spiral-fluted, Nitride-coated bolt manufactured from 4340 Chrome Moly steel, offering reduced weight, smooth operation and improved debris management for rugged environments.

The Nosler’s M21 barreled action is bedded to a carbon fiber stock that weighs only 27 ounces and the carbon fiber wrapped barrels for both Nosler M21s include a threaded muzzle with industry standard ⅝x24 tpi.
